This role plays a key part insupporting project success by coordinating and administering site safety programs in alignmentwith federal, state, local, and company safety and occupational health standards.The Safety Professional will serve as a trusted safety resource for assigned project teams,providing on‐site leadership, coaching, and guidance with the shared goal of ensuring everyemployee goes Home Healthy - Home Safe at the end of each shift.Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate brings a combination of field awareness, organizational strength, and aproactive approach to safety. Experience or proficiency in the following is considered a strongplus:Strong computer knowledge and skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent organizational skillsStrong tracking and follow up skillsWorking knowledge of regulatory requirements related to safety and health in aconstruction environment.* Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 Safety and Health Regulations for Construction.Preferred QualificationsAny of the following experience or credentials are considered beneficial, but not required:Professional safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, or CIHKnowledge and application of safety and health management systems in constructionExperience interpreting and applying federal safety codes, standards, and regulationsExperience preparing and delivering safety or industrial hygiene informationAn Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related fieldPrior experience in safety, health, environmental, or emergency response rolesConstruction experience with a primary focus on safety, health, or environmentalprotection* Completion of OSHA Outreach Trainer coursework, including but not limited to: OSHA500, and 510This position requires the development of a close and effective working relationship with theproject team, including but not limited to frontline workers, field supervision and departmentmanagement.
