Construction SuperintendentPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities across commercial, retail, education, life science, and industrial projects. The Superintendent will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards by coordinating subcontractors, managing daily operations, enforcing safety and quality control, and communicating with stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily on-site operations, supervise field crews and subcontractors, and maintain progress toward schedule milestones.Coordinate trades, materials, equipment, and logistics to ensure efficient workflow and reduce downtime.Implement and enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety standards.Conduct regular site inspections for quality assurance, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions to meet project specifications.Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and as-built records; document labor, materials, equipment, and site conditions.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, owners, and architects to resolve design, schedule, and budget issues.Plan and sequence work to meet critical path activities and manage access, staging, and site constraints on commercial, retail, education, life science, and industrial projects.Mentor and develop field personnel, promote teamwork, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Coordinate commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, and as-built documentation.Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects; experience across retail, education, life science, or industrial sectors preferred.Proven track record managing complex site operations, schedules, and multiple subcontractors.Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, reading drawings and specifications, and quality control practices.Demonstrated commitment to safety with experience implementing site safety programs and managing OSHA or equivalent compliance.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders.Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project or similar) and ability to maintain accurate site documentation.Valid drivers license; relevant certifications (OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or Superintendent-specific training) are a plus.Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required for proven experience.Email Your Resume In Word ToCody.McIntyre@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
