Landscape Laborer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the industry. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial landscapes. Duties Perform general landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Assist with planting, watering, and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Support hardscape projects by assisting in the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for plant health. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members on larger projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines. Follow safety protocols while operating equipment such as excavators or other machinery. Experience Mechanical knowledge is preferred to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is advantageous. Familiarity with gardening practices and tree care techniques is a plus. Experience with snow plowing, tree trimming, and hardscape installation will be beneficial. A background in construction or related fields can enhance your application.
