Supporting the team's mission to ensure data availability, the full-time Junior Database Reliability Engineer will assist with monitoring, maintenance, and performance of database platforms while collaborating with senior engineers and participating in on-call rotations remotely.
Key responsibilities
Support efforts to protect and ensure continuous availability of data
Collaborate with senior team members to analyze and optimize database performance
Document and automate routine database tasks to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
Foundational knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and ability to write basic T-SQL queries
Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and tools to improve reliability
Hands-on experience with basic PowerShell scripting is preferred
Understanding of relational database concepts and data models
Familiarity with Git for source control and collaboration
