We are seeking a high-caliber Systems Engineer to spearhead technical integration for the Air Force’s Integrated Defensive Cyberspace System (IDCS), utilizing cutting-edge Digital Engineering tools like Cameo and Jira to protect national security infrastructure.The Role Lead the technical integration baseline for the IDCS program, overseeing hardware, software, and network design verification and validation. Develop and review critical system documentation including Courses of Action (COAs), System Specifications, and Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs). Execute complex Research & Development tasks, including requirements allocation, interface definition, and trade studies to optimize cyber defense capabilities. Prototype and demonstrate emerging technology explorations, ensuring seamless interoperability between complex network systems. Manage project workflows and lifecycle tracking through the full integration process using Jira and Confluence.What You'll Need Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (Top Secret preferred) and US Citizenship. 4-6 years of professional systems engineering experience (or a Master’s degree with 2-6 years) in complex integration environments. Proven expertise in requirements modeling, diagramming, and implementing requirements capture processes in modern tool suites. Technical proficiency in network routing and switching; experience with Digital Engineering tools like Cameo is highly desirable.
