This role supports the company’s Composites and Insulation businesses by assisting with sample preparation, glass melting, material testing, and laboratory maintenance activities.The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced industrial laboratory environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Candidates with industrial, manufacturing, materials, or production laboratory backgrounds are strongly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory & Sample PreparationPrepare raw material and glass samples for testing and analysisPerform physical property testing on a variety of materialsOperate laboratory equipment for grinding, splitting, sieving, cutting, and polishing samplesGlass & Refractory TestingSupport glass melting and testing activities in high-temperature environmentsOperate furnaces and associated testing equipment safely and efficientlyPrepare refractory brick samples using cutting and grinding tools
