Opportunity: RN - FSJob Details: • Work 36 hours per week minimum • Every other weekend schedule required • Rotating holidays • Med-Surg & Step-down experience required • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients • Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge • Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populationsFacility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and specialized care.
