NR consulting will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Job Type: Fulltime Permanent Role/Direct HireSalary Range: $70K - $80K/Annum plus benefitsPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for overseeing production personnel, maintaining safety and quality standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring daily production objectives are achieved.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support production team members during assigned shifts.Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance to production personnel.Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and operating procedures.Identify, document, and escalate quality concerns or non-conforming products.Maintain accurate production records and operational documentation.Support production scheduling and help achieve established performance metrics.Coordinate material availability to support uninterrupted production operations.Partner with maintenance personnel to address equipment issues and maximize operational uptime.Facilitate effective shift-to-shift communication regarding production status, challenges, and priorities.Communicate operational, quality, staffing, or process-related concerns to management in a timely manner.Utilize Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.Recommend and implement process improvements that support operational excellence.Provide operational coverage and support across production areas when needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and organizational performance.Complete additional duties as assigned by management.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or production experience.Understanding of production processes, performance metrics, and process improvement principles.Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.Experience with production planning and manufacturing operations.Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or similar manufacturing systems.Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.About NR ConsultingFounded in 2005, NR Consulting is a leading global provider of workforce solutions, technology services, and recruitment strategy, trusted by Fortune 500 and mid-sized organizations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
