Lead Full-Stack Engineer (Hybrid)Location: HybridEmployment Type: Full-timeLevel: Senior / LeadFunction: Engineering / Software DevelopmentAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to help design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. This role will own the full development lifecycle from architecture through deployment while working across modern frontend, backend, and cloud technologies.This position requires a forward-thinking, automation-oriented mindset. You will be expected to leverage emerging tools and intelligent development practices to improve efficiency, code quality, and overall product capabilities.As a technical leader, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams including product, architecture, and infrastructure, while also mentoring engineers and driving best practices across the team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor engineers across design, development, testing, and code reviewDesign and build scalable, maintainable applications across frontend and backend systemsWork across a modern stack including Angular or similar frontend frameworks, and backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, or comparable frameworksDrive adoption of modern development practices, including automation and intelligent toolingTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plansDesign and optimize data models and queries for performance and reliabilityWork within cloud environments, primarily AWS, to support application deployment and scalabilityEstablish and enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and CI/CD practicesCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities and deliveryContinuously improve development processes, tooling, and system performanceTroubleshoot and resolve production issues as neededRequired Experience7+ years of software development experience, including leadership or mentorship responsibilitiesStrong experience building modern web applications (frontend and backend)Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular (or similar) and TypeScriptProficiency in backend development using technologies such as Node.js, Java, or similarExperience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL ServerFamiliarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms and distributed systems conceptsExperience building APIs and working with service-oriented or microservices architecturesUnderstanding of application scalability, performance, and security best practicesExperience with version control systems and CI/CD workflowsStrong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skillsNice to HaveExperience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDBExposure to frontend performance optimization and accessibility practicesExperience working in Agile environmentsFamiliarity with AI-enabled development tools or automation within engineering workflowsEducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
