Connectivity: We connect with partners to strengthen communities and ensure student success for all.About the RoleThe Assistant Director of Maintenance supports the physical operation of the campus by maintaining a safe, secure, clean, and well-functioning environment. This individual will supervise the Maintenance Supervisor and ensure the maintenance team provides effective, efficient, and timely service. The Assistant Director will also contribute to campus-wide projects, facility upgrades, and strategic planning for long-term maintenance needs.Required Skills & CompetenciesLeadership & Supervision: Proven ability to supervise and guide teams effectively, with at least one (1) to two (2) years of prior supervisory experience.Decision-Making & Problem-Solving: Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently, particularly under pressure.Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise direction and support.Time Management & Organization: Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking while managing multiple priorities.Teamwork & Independence: Strong ability to work in a team environment, as well as thrive with minimal supervision. This position is NOT available for remote work opportunities.Compliance & Safety: Valid driver's license and insurability by the College's insurance carrier.Customer Service: A strong focus on customer service, ensuring maintenance issues are resolved promptly and professionally.Key ResponsibilitiesThe following is not to be construed as an exhaustive list.
