Restaurant Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for all staff members. Responsibilities: - Manage the restaurant's daily operations, including managing cash handling and ensuring compliance with financial procedures. - Oversee shift management, including coordinating schedules, assignments, and staffing levels to meet business needs. - Supervise and mentor restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent performance and employee satisfaction. - Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to ensure high-quality food and beverages. - Implement hospitality management strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase repeat business. - Manage food management processes, including inventory control, ordering, and supply chain management. - Coordinate kitchen management, including menu planning, food safety protocols, and kitchen staff training. - Develop and implement team management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment, increase staff engagement, and reduce turnover. - Foster open communication and collaboration among restaurant staff, kitchen staff, and other stakeholders. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff members. - Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed. Requirements: - Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a casual dining setting. - Strong knowledge of food industry operations and hospitality management principles. - Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment. - A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to maintaining high-quality food and beverages. - Skill in cash handling and shift management. - Experience with kitchen management and food management processes. - Familiarity with restaurant management software and technology. - Certification in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
