Ensures timely processing of shipping, receiving and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, will be thoroughly organized and have the ability to manage a variety of tasks.This is a contract position working weekend, first shiftHours: 6:00 pm - 6:00 amWork Friday, Saturday, Sunday nightsPay range: $30-40/hour + 30% second shift differentialWhat you'll do:Maintain materials, equipment, and supplies required to meet CFS logistics related job functionsMonitor and control inventory integrity; resolve problems in a timely mannerMaintain physical condition of loading dock, warehouse and ensure safety protocols are observedReceive and verify purchase orders, and stock items appropriatelyComplete physical inventories, cycle counts, random or receipt audits, reconciliations and report the findingsRespond to internal customer inquiries in a timely and professional mannerTrack, report, identify non-conforming or damaged parts, and quarantine damaged products during an incoming inspection with guidance from QA/QC team(s)Assist in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets for incoming materials.Obey all CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors while maintaining a clean work environmentEnsure compliance with CFS HAZMAT storage and shipping plansIdentify and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)Other tasks as reasonably requested by leadershipAbility to operate various material handling equipmentWhat we're looking for:High School Diploma or equivalent3+ years combined experience in Inventory Control or Shipping and ReceivingMinimum of 2 years experience in ERP functionality (required)Exceptional understanding of inventory and warehouse operationsUnderstanding of ERP functionalityStrong computer skills with MS office and G-Suite applicationsPossess problem-solving skills with a bias for speedLearn quickly and adapt to new information and environmentsAble to work with minimal supervision to follow through on assignments and meet deadlinesDemonstrate organizational skills and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize job functions to meet deadlines and ensure smooth workflow and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrate integrity, respect, commitment to excellence, collaboration, creativity, and agilityExhibit strong customer service skillsEffectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with exceptionally tight deadlines with frequent interruptions and distractionsAddress problems with a positive, creative, collaborative approach, always keeping the customer experience in mindHave exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to write concise, logical and grammatically correct business correspondenceBonus Points For:Bachelor's DegreeExperience in a start-up or high growth environmentExperience in manufacturing environmentMust-have requirements:Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsPerform activities such as stopping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods of timeDedication to safety to mitigate hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics$30 - $40 an hourThis is a contract position.#LI-OnsiteAt CFS, we excel in fast-paced environments, driven by our values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
