Job Summary A Welder for Bastian Solutions will be responsible for general welding/fitting producing weldments for material equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is welding/fitting, other duties to include fabrication, assembly and painting of projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Bastian Solutions shop equipment. A Welder will be responsible for maintaining tolerances and dimensions specified by an individual print. A Welder will typically have 2+ years of experience in the welder/fitting field. Job Functions With little guidance ability to build high quality welded parts from blueprints with low rejection rate. **Must maintain tolerances detailed on blueprints With little guidance works from sketches/drawings to produce parts from sheet metal, plate, bar stock, and aluminum Keep work space in a neat and organized order Show mutual respect for coworkers Show up to work every day on time Maintain a positive attitude Overtime required when necessary Follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis) Preferred Skills & Qualifications Relevant welding experience required.
