Director of Pharmacy

Community hospital looking to bring on Pharmacy Director! Sign On Bonus, and Full Relocation! This is a working Director position, so will work as a Pharmacist and Director Position is part of the Senior Team and reports to the CEO Pharmacy Hours: M-F 8:30am to 4:30pm and then remote after 7pmSaturday is 8am – 12pm and Sunday is remote until 1pm4 direct reports – 1FT and PT Pharmacist and 2 PRN Pharmacist Position works every other weekend Medical dispense system: PyxisQualifications:B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy RequiredKnowledgeable and proficient in the legal responsibilities of the pharmacist to the facility and all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services RequiredKnowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics as well as the use and application of new medications and technology RequiredMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience.Current Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy RequiredControlled Substance License in good standing with appropriate State Board of Pharmacy if applicable
