Purchasing ManagerThe Purchasing Manager at SERVPRO oversees all procurement activities supporting mitigation and reconstruction operations. This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. The Purchasing Manager plays a critical role in maintaining project profitabilityespecially for reconstruction jobsby aligning purchasing strategies with budgets, timelines, and quality standards.Benefits: 401(k), health insurance, paid time off.Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers; sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding new vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing; negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize cost savings and support gross profit goals; creating, reviewing, and tracking purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of materials; collaborating with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to align purchasing with project scopes and budgets; monitoring material costs and market trends to proactively manage expenses; supporting gross profit targets on reconstruction jobs through strategic purchasing and cost control; resolving vendor issues, including delays, quality concerns, and billing discrepancies; maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing agreements, and vendor performance; ensuring compliance with company policies, insurance requirements, and industry standards; identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs; and assisting with inventory management and material forecasting as needed.Qualifications include experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (construction or restoration industry preferred); strong negotiation and vendor management skills; knowledge of construction materials, estimating, and job costing; excellent organizational and communication abilities; and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.Picture yourself here fulfilling your potential.
