Job Description DescriptionDescriptionThe Hampton Inn And Suites Wichita Northeast Hotel, managed by StepStone Hospitality, has an exciting opportunity for a Chief Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in high standards of quality customer service, a top-notch preventive maintenance program and outstanding leadership to showcase their skills! What will you be doing? Supervise maintenance operations for the Hampton Inn And Suites Hotel. Supervise assigned associates including hiring, termination, discipline, development, and evaluations.Ensure all projects are completed on time and according to specifications.Work closely with other departments to ensure coordination of activities.Develop and maintain an ongoing preventive maintenance program.Maintain standards of quality guest service.Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget.RequirementsRequirements Effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. Ability to accurately report information. Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures. Attend required meetings. Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis. Minimum lifting of 70 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
