Kforce is partnering with a client actively seeking a Power Platform Engineer to join their team in a hybrid capacity in Spring, TX. This role focuses on designing, building, and supporting enterprise-level solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform - translating business needs into secure, scalable applications, automated workflows, and data-driven insights.Responsibilities:Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven):Design and deliver Canvas and Model-Driven apps for complex business scenariosApply modern UI/UX patterns, responsive layouts, and performance optimizationIntegrate with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, REST APIs, and external systemsManage app lifecycle (ALM) - solution packaging, version control, and environment deploymentsEnforce role-based access, environment governance, and DLP policiesPower Automate:Build cloud flows, approval workflows, scheduled automations, and event-driven processesIntegrate across M365, Dynamics 365, Azure, APIs, and custom connectorsImplement error handling, retry logic, logging, and monitoring for critical flowsOptimize for performance, scalability, and reliabilitySupport RPA initiatives via Power Automate Desktop where applicablePower BI:Create interactive dashboards and reports for executive and operational visibilityDesign and optimize data models, star schemas, and relationshipsAuthor advanced DAX measures and calculated columnsBuild data pipelines using Power Query (M), Dataverse, SQL, and Azure sourcesConfigure Row-Level Security (RLS) and maintain data governanceManage Power BI Service workspaces, deployments, and report performance* Deep hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BIStrong proficiency in Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Azure integrationExperience building and consuming REST APIs and custom connectorsAdvanced DAX authoring and Power Query (M) developmentKnowledge of data modeling, star schemas, and table relationshipsExperience with app lifecycle management (ALM), solution packaging, and environment deploymentsUnderstanding of role-based security, DLP policies, and environment governanceAbility to design responsive, performant UI/UX in Canvas AppsExperience implementing error handling, retry logic, and monitoring in Power AutomateFamiliarity with Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance in Power BIExposure to Power Automate Desktop and RPA workflows is a plusStrong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 ecosystemsAbility to translate business requirements into scalable, well-architected technical solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration skills suited for a hybrid work environmentExperience working in enterprise settings with governance and compliance requirements
