Equipment Operator

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our team and support field operations by delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD (Product Service Delivery) to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, rigging skills, and a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and supporting crew activities throughout field operations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver accurate job results and meet deadlines consistently Participate in pre-job safety meetings and daily toolbox talks Operate, maintain, and inspect field equipment to ensure safety and reliability Prepare equipment for rig-up and rig-down operations as per job requirements Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times Support field and maintenance teams with equipment setup and troubleshooting Maintain safety training records and ensure HSE compliance Report equipment issues, hazards, or deviations from standard procedures Mandatory Skills: Equipment Operation Safety Awareness HSE Compliance Rigging and Field Setup Mechanical Aptitude PPE Usage Preventative Maintenance Tool Handling Field Technician Support Maintenance Technician Duties Completion of Required Safety & Technical Training Preferred Skills: PSD Knowledge (Product Service Delivery) Strong Teamwork and Crew Coordination Troubleshooting & Problem Solving Time Management and Adaptability Clear and Effective Communication Initiative and Dependability Prior Field Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy Sectors Pre-Job Planning and Operational Readiness Support Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications preferred) Previous experience operating heavy or specialized field equipment Must be physically fit and able to work in various outdoor environments Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites Job Type: Contract Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift Rotating weekends Work Location: In person
