Vulnerability Management Program Manager

Job OverviewWe are seeking a Vulnerability Management (VM) Program Manager to support enterprise-wide vulnerability remediation operations and governance initiatives. This role will focus on managing Jira-based vulnerability workflows, coordinating remediation activities with engineering and infrastructure teams, tracking SLAs, driving escalations, and providing operational reporting to leadership.The ideal candidate will have strong program management and operational coordination skills with experience working in technical environments. Deep hands-on cybersecurity expertise is not required, but familiarity with vulnerability management processes, infrastructure operations, or security programs is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesManage enterprise vulnerability remediation workflows and Jira ticket pipelinesCoordinate remediation follow-ups with Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teamsTrack vulnerability remediation SLAs, aging metrics, and escalationsFacilitate communication between cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teamsPrepare operational dashboards, reports, executive summaries, and status updatesDrive accountability and governance across remediation activitiesManage Slack communications, follow-ups, and action trackingSupport onboarding and operationalization of VM tools and processesIdentify workflow gaps and help improve remediation lifecycle processesCoordinate with internal security stakeholders and remediation engineersRequired Qualifications5+ years of Program Management / Technical Program Management experienceStrong experience with Jira workflow management and operational trackingExcellent stakeholder communication and coordination skillsExperience working with Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, or Security teamsStrong organizational, reporting, and escalation management skillsAbility to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and prioritiesExperience with operational governance and process managementPreferred QualificationsExposure to Vulnerability Management or Cybersecurity Operations programsFamiliarity with tools such as:JiraServiceNowTenableQualysRapid7SplunkCrowdStrikeWizExperience with cloud infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)Agile / Scrum experiencePrior experience supporting remediation tracking or security governance initiativesPreferred BackgroundCandidates with experience in:Technical Program ManagementInfrastructure OperationsCybersecurity OperationsEnterprise PMOCloud OperationsSecurity GovernanceVulnerability Remediation Coordination
