School Speech Language Pathologist - Denton, North Carolina

Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Experienced speech-language pathologists are needed to deliver essential services to students across several educational settings in the area. This contract opportunity involves working full time throughout the academic year, supporting students' communication needs while collaborating with school teams and families.Key Qualifications:Current, active North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) SLP LicenseCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)Demonstrated experience with school-based speech servicesProficiency in ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)Prior experience leading IEP meetings, conducting evaluations, and writing comprehensive reportsStrong communication, organizational, and collaboration skillsPrimary Responsibilities:Provide targeted, in-person speech and language therapy services in accordance with student IEPsConduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and progress monitoringDevelop present levels of performance, annual goals, and service summaries within the IEP processParticipate actively in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and contributing to multidisciplinary teamsMaintain timely and accurate documentation according to state and district guidelinesCommunicate effectively with teachers, families, and fellow professionals to ensure student growthThis role begins at the start of the academic year and continues through late spring. You'll be instrumental in helping students achieve their communication goals while working in a collaborative, supportive environment across multiple school sites.
