Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Description We are hiring Maintenance Technicians for immediate openings on 2nd and 3rd shift with a food packaging company in Elgin. This is a direct hire, full time position.This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production running. Equipment requires constant attention, so we are looking for someone strong in troubleshooting and repair.What you will be doing:Troubleshoot and repair packaging and production equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and handle breakdowns during productionWork with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsSet up and adjust packaging linesSupport production with equipment issuesEquipment:Form fill seal machines, Hayssen, Matrix, Bartelt, RopakCartooning machines and packaging linesWhat we are looking for:Maintenance experience in manufacturing or packagingStrong troubleshooting skills, both mechanical and electricalAble to respond quickly to equipment issuesBilingual Spanish is a plusReliable and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentWork environment:Production floorStanding most of the shiftSome lifting up to 50 lbs.Company DescriptionSuperior Staffing is looking for employee who is seeking long-term positions with opportunity for growth.
