Once the order is validated, this position will prepare the order for release to materials and operations by ensuring an accurate bill of material is generated and the truck components are placed on the chassis frame layout model that meets standard engineering specifications, customer requirements, and safety/compliance standards.Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes orders, identifies incompatible option content, and makes recommendations to dealers/customersCoordinates with product engineers and dealers, as necessary, to resolve incompatibilities.Provides technical guidance for changes during pilot inspections and feedback related to technical information.Helps implement and coordinate new programsManage projects for continuous improvement initiativesPerforms other duties as assignedAttendance is an essential function of all positionsQualificationsRequired:High School diploma requiredDemonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical dataDemonstrate high level of initiative and follow throughStrong desire to learn new roles and activities within departmentDemonstrate and maintain high level of flexibilityStrong knowledge of heavy duty trucks is preferredExcellent interpersonal skillsMust be detail orientedMust be capable of multi-taskingPreferred:Two year technical degree or equivalent experience in heavy equipment machinery or commercial vehicle equipment.Two years of PACCAR experience is preferred.Demonstrated ability to understand complex tasksFamiliarity of CICS systemProficient with Windows systemsAdditional Job Board InformationPACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability. The salary range for this position is $67,800 - $93,100 annually.
