Senior PHP Developer

WOW Brands team is currently seeks 2 Senior PHP Developers to join the web development and support team. They will support the missions including application development, rapid prototyping, standards development, and research and development of new technologies. Primary Responsibilities: Design, plan, and develop web applications. Research cutting edge technologies and provide proof of concept applications demonstrating usage in the LAMP environment. Identify, research, and create standards and standards documentation. Provide demos and training to staff to facilitate forward progress in the adoption of new technologies and new standards. Complete onboarding tasks such as documentation review and environment configuration. Requirements: Experience and Skills Required: 5+ years of experience in PHP 5+ years of experience in Laravel 5+ years of experience with custom software development experience Thorough knowledge of the HTTP lifecycle and REST services Thorough knowledge of enterprise application software development life cycle Desired Skills & Qualifications Vue or Angular UI development experience is a strong plus A strong curiosity about our clients’ business needs, coupled with a passion to stay on the cutting edge Consulting skills including team building, flexibility, and client-facing skills Ability to demonstrate skills in analysis, design, implementation, and development process. Experience with Agile development methodologies Additional Information: In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be a US Citizen. Ability to pass a US Public Trust background investigation for access to the client site and computing systems. You must have lived in the US for the past three (3) years.
