Fabrication Shop Laborer

The Laborer is responsible for providing general support to the metal fabrication process. This includes material handling, equipment operation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy metal materials 50lbs+ Standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and reaching Use hand tools and operate machinery High school diploma or equivalent Willingness to learn new skills and operate various machinery Previous experience in a metal fabrication shop is a plus but not required Job Responsibilities: Loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas Preparing materials for fabrication, such as cutting, grinding, or deburring Operating basic metalworking equipment like shears, saws, and grinders Cleaning and maintaining equipment Keeping the shop clean and organized Maintaining a safe work environment Non CDL driving with and without trailer Knowledge, Skill & Abilities: Ability to operate forklift (will train) Ability to operate metal cutting band saw (will train) Ability to read a tape measure Possess a valid driver's license Ability to do basic math Ability to follow instructions Collaborating with other workers to achieve production goals Adhering to safety protocols and using protective equipment Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-5:30PM Design Solutions and Integration is a prominent player in industrial solutions, celebrated not only for their expertise in design and integration but also for their distinction as an employee-owned company.
