You will Inspect carpet for defects and tag defects.What You’ll DoDistinguish between quality & off quality carpetVerify the style & color number are correct by using a deckboard.Measure the width of each greige good rollClean or repair defects when ableEnter roll information onto computerAttend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision Follow all established standard operating procedures Perform general housekeeping duties as necessaryPerform other tasks assigned by managementWhat You HaveHigh school diploma or GED equivalency required.No prior experience required.Reads and writes in standard English and proficient in performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.Successful completion of all required on the job training.Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.What You’re Good AtMust be an effective team member.Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others in the immediate work unit and in related support areas.Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.What ElseAbility to lift or move 50 lbsAbility to pass color vision testMust be capable of frequently stepping on and off cat-walkMohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
