Key Responsibilities Review medical records to enhance the quality and completeness of clinical documentation Collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate clinical information in medical records Provide training and guidance to coding staff regarding clinical severity and documentation standards Required Qualifications, Training, and Education 3 years of experience in coding, preferably in an academic setting Exceptional coding skills with extensive experience in ICD10 Pediatric experience preferred High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Current state licensure as a coding specialist, registered health information administrator, or registered health information technologist
