The successful candidate will be responsible for driving loan originations, which includes acquiring and closing new target clients, as well as expanding relationships with existing clients. The VP Loan Officer will be expected to evaluate loan opportunities, structure financing terms, and prepare internal documentation for presentation to various internal teams. Additionally, the role involves generating leads, attending meetings, and presentations, and tracking activities in the company CRM. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years' of relevant experience in lending or financial services, and a proven track record in sales within the lending industry.
