Rooted in its local community, the company takes pride in its reputation for dependability and service.Position SummaryThe Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FN Simple Uniforms will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company. This role requires a visionary leader who can streamline operations, drive efficiency, and ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives as the company scales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, ideally within a startup. This person will need to have an entrepreneurial mindset and find joy in solving complex problems. The COO will need to be extremely detail oriented, structured and will need to prove they embody our company core values of Grit, Accountability and Service.ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership:Develop and implement operational strategies/tactics, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring smooth workflow and effective resource allocation. This includes but not limited to;On Demand printing, embroidery and tailoringLarge scale apparel decoration of all kindsComputer and graphic design teamCustomer service and organization onboardingIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.Strategic Planning & Execution:Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and execute the company's strategic vision and goals.Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans (tactics) and ensure their successful implementation.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Team Management & Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. Our work environment should be focused on hard work and fun as well.Manage inter-departmental communication and coordination to achieve business objectives.Financial Oversight:Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets, forecast operational needs, and ensure financial health.Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth through operational efficiencies.Risk Management & Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.Scalability & Growth:Develop scalable operational models to support the company's rapid growth.Lead initiatives to improve infrastructure and systems to accommodate increasing demand.Ideal Qualifications NOT requirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree (MBA).Experience:Past experience in a senior operational leadership role, preferably within a startup or high-growth company.Demonstrated success in scaling operations and implementing efficient processes.Previous owner of a small or start up business.Strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.Skills:Exceptional leadership and management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in project management and operational software.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
