This is an opportunity to gain exposure to energy efficiency services, building science principles, and innovative solutions that help clients reduce energy consumption.Pay:Seasonal summer, in-office role. $16/hourRequirements:Genuine interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, and the clean energy transitionStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to learnGood communication skillsComfortable working in both office and field environmentsBasic computer proficiencyMust be reliable, honest, and hardworkingAbility to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team membersAbility to pass a background screeningValid driver’s licenseResponsibilities:Assist with residential and commercial energy auditsSupport the team in identifying opportunities for energy efficiency improvementsAssist with project documentation and data entryHelp monitor energy consumption tracking systemsSupport administrative tasks related to energy efficiency programsAssist with HVAC upgrades, smart thermostat installations, and other efficiency measures as neededConduct research on utility programs, incentives, and energy efficiency technologiesCollaborate with team members to support project executionLearn about building science principles and energy efficiency best practicesPhysical Requirements:Must be able to work in various environments, including homes and commercial buildingsMay require lifting, climbing ladders, or navigating crawl spacesComfortable working on feet for long periodsWhy Cape Fear Energy Systems?Gain hands-on experience in the clean energy industryWork on meaningful projects that reduce energy costs and carbon footprintsJoin a collaborative, mission-driven team that’s growing fastBuild valuable experience in energy efficiency and building performance systemsEqual Opportunity EmployerCape Fear Energy Systems is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
