Dietary Aide

If you're passionate about patient care and have a strong attention to detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!Responsibilities:Review, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and special diet ordersPrepare and serve residents' nutritional bedtime snacks and substitute foods for residents who refuse served foodsMaintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are maintained and that the facility's standards on Infection Control Precautions are followedPerform dishwashing and cleaning procedures, ensuring utensils and equipment are readily available for next mealPrepare and deliver snacks and food carts, trays to designated areas, and serve food and drinks in the dining room as instructedSweep and mop floors in the kitchen and dish room as instructed by supervisorRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required1 year of experience in food service or a related field preferredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishMaintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and the appearance of work areasPerform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned dutiesPossess patience, tact, and a cheerful dispositionAbility to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing food practicesMust not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplaceAre You Ready to Join Our Team?If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have a strong attention to detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
