People who want to help build a company—not just write code.If you're looking for a place where your work will directly shape the future of the business from day one, you'll thrive here.ABOUT THE ROLEWe're not looking for someone to complete tickets.We're looking for someone to own the technical side of a startup.You'll work directly with the Founder to build and improve every part of PuffRush's marketplace—from the customer ordering experience to merchant operations, driver logistics, payments, compliance, and internal tools.There isn't a senior engineer above you.There isn't a product manager writing detailed specifications.There isn't an engineering playbook.You'll help create it.This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys making technical decisions, moving quickly, solving difficult problems, and taking responsibility for the product they're building.OUR ENGINEERING PHILOSOPHYWe believe AI has fundamentally changed how great software gets built.We're not looking for engineers who simply write code—we're looking for engineers who know how to leverage AI to move faster while maintaining excellent engineering judgment.If you're not already using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or similar as part of your daily workflow, this probably isn't the right role.We expect AI to be a core part of your development process—not because it's trendy, but because it allows one exceptional engineer to move like a small engineering team.That doesn't replace engineering judgment.Architecture, security, scalability, product decisions, and technical tradeoffs are still yours to own.WHAT YOU'LL BUILDYou'll be working across every part of PuffRush's platform, including:Customer ordering experienceMerchant dashboardDriver applicationInternal admin platformMarketplace payment infrastructureAge verification and compliance systemsCatalog and inventory managementDispatch and logistics workflowsInternal operational dashboardsProduct features that directly impact customers and retail partnersThis isn't a greenfield project—we already have an existing marketplace platform.
