Fullstack Engineer - Podcast

For our client, we are seeking a Fullstack Engineer - Podcast to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a Media environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $132,948 – $189,927 annuallyResponsibilities Design and maintain scalable backend services for podcast management Contribute to frontend experiences with React and TypeScript Develop APIs connecting user experiences and internal infrastructure Enhance system performance and developer experience Collaborate with product managers and designers for integrated solutions Participate in technical discussions and shape platform decisions Mentor peers and uphold code quality standards Foster a culture of experimentation and learningQualifications 5+ years experience in backend systems with Java, Ruby on Rails, or similar languages Familiarity with React and TypeScript, with a willingness to enhance frontend skills Understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing Strong focus on user experience, particularly for content creators Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate across technical levels Curious, experimental mindset with a passion for continuous improvement Interest in podcast ecosystems and creator-focused toolsBenefits Flexible remote working options within North America Team operates in Eastern Standard Time for collaboration Health insurance coverage Six-month paid parental leave 401(k) retirement plan Monthly meal allowance 23 paid days off plus flexible holidays and sick leaveOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
