Office Manager/Accounts Payable Manager
The position is one of two accounting positions in the company. (close office atmosphere) The position is a full-time (40 hour per week) non-salaried position. This is an in-person position; and cannot be done remotely, and we prefer the Employee live near Company Job duties include but are not limited to: · ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCESSING MONTHLY SALES TAX RECONCILIATION AND REPORTING · QUARTERLY BALANCING AND REPORTING OF PAYROLL TAXES PAID · 401(K) ADMINSTRATION, 5500 Reporting ANNUALLY · MONTHLY UNION WITHHOLDINGS RECONCILIATION AND REPORTING · PREPARE DOCUMENTS AND WORK WITH LOCAL 512 AUDITOR ANNUALLY · WORK COMP / OSHA REPORTING AND RECORD KEEPING · CONTRACT MANAGEMENT, ASSIST PROJECT MANAGERS · FILLING, PREPARING JOB FOLDERS · SCHEDULE DOT EXAMS FOR BOTH COMPANIES · SCHEDULE ANNUAL HEARING, RESP TESTING · MAINTAIN JOB BACKLOG TRACKING · WEEKLY CERTIFIED PAYROLL · TONNAGE REPORTS QUARTERLY · ORDERING SUPPLIES · COMPLETE PRE-QUALIFACTION WITH GENERAL CONTRACTORS · REQUEST AND MAINTAIN CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE FOR JOBS Skills: Working knowledge of Open Systems Accounting Software (OSAS) or similar accounting software. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe. Work background: 2 years experience in accounting in the commercial construction industry. 2 years experience in accounts payable / book keeping Education: Prefer some post-secondary education in Accounting. Traits: Organized. Strong work ethic. Detail oriented. Consistent and precise with all work efforts. Works well with others in a close office atmosphere. Strong communication skills.
