Director, Oracle ERP TransformationSummaryThe Director, ERP Applications is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and modernization of the organization's enterprise ERP ecosystem, with a primary focus on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and the organization's long-term Oracle Fusion roadmap. This highly visible leadership role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional business stakeholders to align enterprise technology initiatives with operational goals, process improvement efforts, and future-state digital transformation initiatives.This individual will oversee the ongoing support, enhancement, optimization, and strategic direction of the organization's Oracle ERP landscape across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and related enterprise functions. The role will also provide oversight and alignment across integrated business platforms including CRM and customer engagement technologies such as Salesforce.This is a succession-oriented leadership opportunity with the expectation that this individual will transition into the organization's lead ERP leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesOracle ERP Strategy & LeadershipPartner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to define and execute the organization's Oracle ERP strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.Lead the strategic roadmap, governance, and operational direction for Oracle EBS and future Oracle Fusion initiatives.Drive enterprise application standardization, optimization, and modernization initiatives across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer operations.Serve as a strategic advisor on ERP best practices, enterprise architecture, system scalability, and digital transformation opportunities.ERP Modernization & TransformationLead enterprise ERP modernization initiatives, including Oracle EBS upgrades, optimization efforts, consolidation activities, and future Oracle Fusion transition planning.Oversee planning, implementation, enhancement, integration, and support activities across Oracle ERP applications and related enterprise systems.Partner with business leaders to improve operational efficiency through automation, process redesign, reporting, and systems integration initiatives.Support integration strategy and operational alignment between Oracle ERP, Salesforce platforms, and other enterprise applications.Program & Project LeadershipLead multiple enterprise-level ERP and enterprise systems initiatives simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.Establish governance structures, delivery standards, project prioritization processes, and stakeholder accountability across enterprise initiatives.Manage relationships with system integrators, consulting partners, software vendors, and managed service providers supporting the Oracle ecosystem.Operational & Financial ManagementOversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and vendor management activities.Develop and monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and executive reporting related to ERP system performance, project delivery, and business outcomes.Ensure appropriate governance, compliance, change management, and operational support processes are established across enterprise systems.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing enterprise applications team supporting Oracle ERP and related enterprise platforms.Foster a collaborative and accountable culture focused on operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement.Support succession planning, employee development, and organizational capability growth across the ERP applications organization.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.10+ years of progressive IT leadership and enterprise ERP applications management experience.Demonstrated leadership experience supporting large-scale Oracle EBS environments.Experience leading ERP modernization, consolidation, upgrade, or enterprise transformation initiatives.Strong understanding of Oracle ERP applications across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and operational business processes.Experience managing system integrators, managed service providers, and external consulting partners.Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.Experience presenting to executive leadership and Board-level audiences.Strong understanding of enterprise application governance, budgeting, operational management, and project delivery methodologies.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting Oracle Fusion transition strategies and cloud ERP modernization initiatives.Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, Supply Chain Management, Product Hub, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Experience integrating Oracle ERP with CRM, eCommerce, and customer engagement platforms.Exposure to Salesforce Core and Salesforce Marketing Cloud environments.Manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution industry experience preferred.Leadership ScopeDirect leadership responsibility for a team of approximately 6–10 employees.Oversight of external vendors, consulting partners, and managed service resources supporting enterprise ERP operations.
