This role is a great way to jump-start your career right after high school. As a Supply Chain Apprentice, you'll learn how products move through a company from when they arrive to when they're shipped out while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. This role is designed to help you learn step by step, working alongside experienced team members and getting exposure to different parts of the business. What does an Apprenticeship with Wurth Industry look like? This apprenticeship is built to help you grow both professionally and academically. You'll split your time between working at Wurth Industry and taking classes at Ivy Tech Community College, following a consistent schedule of three days at work and two days in school. As you progress through the program, you'll apply what you're learning in class directly to your day-to-day work. Over time, you'll develop not only technical knowledge in supply chain, but also important workplace skills like communication, problem-solving, and time management. Through this program, you'll: Gain hands-on experience in a real work setting Build a strong understanding of how warehouse and supply chain operations work Earn an Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management (paid for by the company) Receive industry-recognized certifications This program is designed to help you build a foundation for long-term career growth, not just complete a short-term job. What will you do as an Apprentice? Your responsibilities will grow as you learn. Some of the things you'll be trained to do include: Tracking and organizing inventory using technology Assisting with receiving and shipping products Keeping work areas organized and running efficiently Maintaining accurate records and documentation Learning to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts (with training provided) Supporting quality checks and following safety guidelines Helping solve everyday challenges like inventory issues or shipment delays What makes someone successful in this role? This role is a good fit for someone who is motivated to learn and open to new experiences. You don't need prior experience just a willingness to grow. Successful apprentices are: Dependable and willing to take initiative Open to learning and feedback Organized and able to manage their time Comfortable working with others as part of a team Focused on doing things safely and accurately What are the requirements?
