Weekend Night Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Zip code 18070. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, excellent writing and documentation skills, and the ability to effectively implement habilitation programs tailored to client goals. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a respectful and empowering manner. Accurately document client progress, daily activities, and incidents with clarity and professionalism. Implement and follow individualized habilitation programs to promote client independence, skill development, and community integration. Support clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance as needed. Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment while maintaining client dignity and choice. Communicate effectively with clients, families, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members. Qualifications: Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or similar role working with intellectually disabled individuals. Strong written communication and documentation skills—must be able to produce clear and detailed service notes. Experience in implementing habilitation plans or individualized support plans. High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in human services a plus). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
