Facility Coordinator - Part Time

The Facility Coordinator will be the point person to disseminate information across the site and programs in case of a crisis. We offer a Peer Support Scholarship Program, which covers the cost of Peer Support training for those qualified for the role.After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 100% match up to 4%!Job Responsibilities Of a Facility CoordinatorContributes to the oversight of a safe recovery environmentInspects and secures the building, grounds and parking lotConducts internal and external rounds every 30 minutesChecks all entrances and exitsReports if anything looks out of placeObserves behavior of peopleWatches for emergenciesEnsures staff and visitors are easily identifiableCollaborates with key staff when communicating via walkie talkies, Teams, email, etc.Opens and closes the building each day (turns on/off alarms, turns on/off lights, etc.)Monitors internal and external security camerasCollaborates with clinical staff to support situation de-escalation during an event and oversees emergency responseEnsures that packages are delivered to the appropriate areas of the facilityPerforms monthly, quarterly and annual alarm drills and safety inspectionsActs as Safety Marshall and conducts with Safety Checklists with staffQualifications Of a Facility CoordinatorEducational and ExperienceHS diploma or GED equivalentAt least 18 yoMin 2 years of crisis and de-escalation experience within the adult MH/SU population in a community setting (mental health/substance use/security experience can be substituted for certification)Certification in CPR, First Aid, Blood borne Pathogens training, and ADAKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to set clear boundariesMicrosoft Office Suite + ability to learn other technological recording methods e., EMRs/EHRsAbility to be flexible and adapt to frequent change in workflow based on need and service structureFrequent periods of standing and/or walking for extended amounts of timeHIPPA and Behavioral Health specific confidentiality and privacy rightsCrisis de-escalation skillsAbility to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crises or resistant or negative toward organizationAbout SouthLight HealthcareTap into your passion at SouthLight Healthcare.
