EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,911 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year EP Lab clinical experience required License: Active license required in the state of practice Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS required Must-Have: - Experience with Cerner - Hemodynamic monitoring - Ablation procedures - EKG settings and experience in inpatient, outpatient, and obtaining vitals Description: The Electrophysiology Tech will be working in an EP Lab setting. This position requires proficiency in electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac ablations and device implants. The role involves daily caseload management with an average of 18 cases. Experience with Philips and Siemens X-Ray machines is necessary. Familiarity with GE Micropacer and 3D mapping systems is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms. The position does not require on-call or weekend coverage. Candidates must have the ability to operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment and prepare for special procedures. Strong skills in accessing and managing ports, as well as performing invasive procedures like pacemaker insertions, are essential. This role supports various procedures, such as cardioversion and tilt table studies. The facility is a short-term acute care teaching hospital recognized in the top 50 heart and vascular centers.
