This Machine Operator job gives you the chance to run the line, solve problems, and earn paychecks that keep stacking.What It TakesHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years of experience in offset printing as a press operatorGood with mechanics, tools, and small repairsDetail-driven with pride in your workAble to lift and move heavy loadsWorks well with the crew, safety always firstDaily ResponsibilitiesSets up machines and maintains quality throughout the run per individual job.Changes press plates, blankets, and cylinders as needed.Cleans inks, fountains, plates, and changes units as needed.Runs the machine at optimal speed to meet production standards.Performs adjustments on the machine to ensure maximum productivity.Performs regular quality checks on all components to ensure quality standards are met.Recalibrates equipment as required.Sets colors.Communicates job status and production concerns/issues during shift transition to ensure optimal productivity for the following shift.Perks That Hit DifferentOur client offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, long and short-term disability, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.
