The chosen candidate will work directly with our distributor partners, customers, and outside sales team to provide all aspects of product support, including product recommendations by application, ordering, returns, and customer feedback. In addition, this position will be involved in various systems inputting and updating data for backorders, Ecommerce ordering, and Salesforce to manage the workflow.This is your opportunity to work in an environment where employees truly believe in the products they produce. Flexco has consistently been named to the list of \"101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For\".Customer Service Representatives at Flexco can expect a starting hourly wage between $29.00 and $36.00, or more, depending on skills, education and experience.Purpose: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as a key liaison between customers, distributors, Sales, Marketing, and internal teams. This role supports customer relationships, inside sales activities, and order-to-invoice processing while proactively identifying opportunities to add value and grow business. The CSR is expected to provide accurate, timely, and consistent support while maintaining a customer-first mindset.What you will need:Associate’s degree or equivalent work experienceExperience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with data entry accuracy and typing skillsPreferred understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemsAbility and willingness to learn and understand technical product information across the Flexco product portfolioStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to remain calm, professional, and personable when working with customers and distributorsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong data entry accuracy and typing skillsWillingness to participate in occasional travel for trade shows, sales calls, or company eventsWhat you will be doing: Act as a consultant and value-added resource to customers by proactively identifying opportunities, not just responding to requestsFacilitate the sales process by managing open sales orders, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experienceProvide technical assistance and product recommendations to distributors and end usersQuote pricing and delivery dates; process distributor referrals for end-user customersRecognize and recommend product add-on opportunities during order revieProcess, edit, and interpret customer orders, including product literature, catalogs, and samplesSchedule shipment dates and enter orders accurately into internal systemsInvestigate and resolve customer complaints, including tracking shipments and initiating carrier trace procedures when necessaryReview, approve, and process customer return requestsEnter and release credits, debits, and invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracyDetermine freight rates, contact carriers as needed, and prepare Canadian export documentationSupport Marketing initiatives including campaigns, events, seminars, and webinars as appropriateCollaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory alignment, backorder review, and timely issue resolutionPrepare and review reports related to order processing, customer commitments, product availability, and product demand trendsMaintain accurate sales records, files, and system data; purge inactive accounts as requiredParticipate as a team member by coordinating work activities and cross-training across functional areasChampion quality processes and continuous improvement initiativesAct as backup to the Receptionist as neededFlexco is an equal-opportunity employer offering a generous compensation and benefits package including:Medical (including Rx), dental, vision on the first day of employment401(k) with matching funds12 paid holidays per yearUp to 15 vacation days and 5 personal daysTuition reimbursement/educational assistanceLife insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and more.Are you interested in us?
