Comprehensive benefits.Qualifications:CT teaching certification in Special Education K-12Experience with students with behavioral needs a plusPrior experience working with children with special needs a plusPossesses excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skillsMust be highly motivated and self-directed Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with individual student teamsProvide Case Manager services, including development, implementation, and monitoring of IEP goals and objectives; liaison with general education teachers; communication with home; running Team meetings.Attend PPT's and other meetings for assigned students and present up to date information on progress toward goals and objectivesConduct and present educational testing results, using this information to review and revise current IEP goals and objectivesCollect and manage data pertaining to various student goals and objectivesEnsure that all related services and class accommodations are being implemented in the appropriate settingsParticipate in professional development and other meetings with the special education department and school-wide facultyAdapt and modify curriculum materials and instructional approaches; serve as a resource to the general education staff in regards to working with a diverse learner populationImplement and monitor behavior support and incentive plans for assigned students ?
