As one of the nation’s largest health benefits providers, it focuses on innovation, operational excellence, and transformation to enhance the healthcare experience.About the OpportunityThe Process Optimization Lead drives initiatives that improve operational effectiveness through process evaluation, standardization, governance, and continuous improvement. This role leads strategic operational projects, supports risk management and governance activities, and collaborates across teams to ensure optimized processes are successfully implemented and adopted.Responsibilities• Evaluate, design, and optimize business processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and stakeholder experience.• Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.• Drive adoption of best practices and process standards to promote operational consistency.• Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps, workflows, procedures, and governance materials.• Lead the planning and execution of operational initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues that may impact successful execution.• Coordinate operational readiness activities to support effective implementation and adoption.• Facilitate governance processes that support informed decision-making and risk management.• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, and status updates.• Escalate critical issues and risks to appropriate leadership.• Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to promote accountability and operational excellence.• Manage stakeholder communications and change-readiness activities throughout implementation.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Public Health, or a related field.• Minimum 4 years of experience coordinating enterprise-level operational processes, projects, governance activities, or cross-functional workstreams.• Experience applying project management, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar process improvement methodologies.• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder groups.• Ability to maintain project plans, timelines, process documentation, and governance materials.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions without direct authority.• Strong risk identification, issue tracking, problem-solving, and escalation skills.• Detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on process consistency and execution accuracy.• Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in project coordination or project management.• Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or other relevant professional certification.• Familiarity with operational governance frameworks.• Experience working in healthcare, regulated, or compliance-driven environments.Pay Range and Compensation Package• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
