This role serves as a key member of the foundation's "Systems Change" team (policy advocacy, field building, industry relations and impact measurement program teams). This leader will be instrumental in refining and executing the organization's industry relations priorities in the Pacific Northwest. The director must be a strategic thinker, a great relationship manager, a persuasive ambassador and a champion for equitable and socially responsible banking.Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesRelationship ManagementEstablish a positive, credible and influential presence for Beneficial State Foundation with trade groups, industry associations and other relevant stakeholder organizations primarily in the Pacific Northwest and ensure the foundation's goals are well representedBuild relationships with banking industry leaders and influencersIntroduce triple‐bottom‐line (TBL) standards to banks and, in collaboration, develop and adopt industry‐wide standards for social impact bankingResearch and Content DevelopmentCapture, synthesize and report key learnings from industry interactions, trends and behaviors to inform and refine Beneficial State Foundation's systems change strategyAcquire industry intelligence to gain information on trends, TBL product pipelines, TBL bank innovation and be in the in‐house expert on targeted banksDetermine and identify resources to help banks adopt practices and policies to adhere to the TBL standardsCo‐develop training materials, curriculum and equitable banking resources for other banks who are interested in TBL/organizational changeDevelop other written communications, including both internal and external content (one pagers, brochures, presentations/decks, event flyers) to support organizational goalsStrategy and Project ManagementEffectively manage and organize supporting materials such as: industry research, executive briefings, executive talking points, action‐item tracking, meeting participation and reportingServe as strategy and thought partnership leader on the Systems Change team; operationalizing our logic model and theory of change, strategic planning, goal setting, and program evaluationOther dutiesLead, advise and assist with foundation‐led events and logisticsSpeak at and attend events on behalf of Beneficial State FoundationSpecial projects as assignedQualificationsWe are passionate about developing a diverse and inclusive workforce.
