Position: Retail Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:
Assist the Retail Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring a smooth customer experience
Train, supervise, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive store revenue and profitability
Monitor inventory levels and order new stock as needed, ensuring optimal product availability
Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards, ensuring a clean and organized shopping environment
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with the Retail Manager to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of retail staff
Support the Retail Manager in any additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is a plus
Proven experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory or management role
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
Proficiency in inventory management and merchandising techniques
Familiarity with retail POS systems and basic computer skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
