We are seeking a part time or full time Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor in Monroe County to support Clinical Fellows. We take great pride in the work we do and have a strong reputation in the field. The supervisor will also be able to carry their own caseload.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties and responsibilities of the supervisory role are not limited to the following:Provide professional support and personal guidance to the Clinical Fellow throughout the CF experienceAssess the Clinical Fellow's progress in demonstrating the skills and knowledge appropriate for practiceCoordinate the observation schedule to ensure that all skills are observed and evaluated during each segment of the CF experience.Provide formal performance feedback sessions with Clinical FellowComplete initial and final State and ASHA forms for submission of CF's clinical experience and outcomesThe essential duties and responsibilities of the caseload are not limited to the following:Work 1:1 and within groups with developmentally delayed children and their families using an embedded coaching model to provide support, information, and skills to promote generalization/maintenance of goals and enhance the development of the childProvide home and community based speech therapy, which includes reviewing IFSP/IEP goals and objectivesCollaborate with other service providers to support IFSP/IEP goals and objectives, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Special InstructionComplete session notes, progress reports and annual reviews as required by the Early Intervention and CPSE programsQualificationsM.A. or M.S. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders/Speech-Language PathologyNYS License in Speech Pathology requiredMust demonstrate excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skillsMust be able to collaborate with the clinical team and all related service providers on a caseloadOur mission is to provide the best possible services to children in their natural environments.
