Chopin Program LeadDescription -
The Chopin Program Lead owns the execution and operational leadership of the Chopin and Chopin PLUS programs, serving as thefinal quality, readiness, and risk gatebefore HP Gaming and Consumer devices reach press reviewers, influencers, media events, and executive stakeholders.
This role ensures that all externally facing systems meetperformance, stability, and experience expectations , while driving cross-functional coordination and issue resolution across engineering, PR, and supply chain.
Operating at the intersection ofengineering, product, and go-to-market execution , this role plays a critical part inprotecting brand reputation, enabling scalable PR execution, and ensuring launch excellence .Key Responsibilities:
Program Ownership & ExecutionLead execution of key programs across Consumer and Gaming SolutionsOwn device readiness processes to ensure systems are fully validated for external exposureDrive alignment between product readiness, PR timelines, and launch requirementsQuality & Issue ManagementOwn tracking, prioritization, and closure of hardware, firmware, OS, and experience-related issuesPartner with System Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams to drive resolutionEnsure only stable, high-quality systems are approved for reviewer and event useCross-Functional LeadershipAct as asingle-threaded operational owneracross Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Factory teamsDrive clear communication, escalation management, and alignment across stakeholdersBridge technical and business priorities to ensure launch readinessPress & Event SupportSupport engagement with press reviewers and influencers during reviews, workshops, and early evaluationsLead issue intake, validation, and coordination of resolution workflowsEnsure flawless execution of media events, workshops, and launch momentsOperations & Continuous ImprovementOwn and enhance Chopin PLUS dashboards, reporting systems, and workflowsDrive improvements in data accuracy, operational efficiency, and process scalabilityEstablish repeatable best practices for review readiness and executionKey Deliverables / Success MetricsConsistent delivery of reviewer-ready systemsacross all launches and eventsEffective issue management and resolution velocityacross HW/SW domainsZero critical failuresduring press reviews, workshops, and launch eventsAccurate, real-time program tracking and reportingContinuous improvement in Chopin operational efficiency and scalabilityEducation & ExperienceRecommended
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field5-8+ years of experience in product engineering, quality, program management, or NPI environmentsStrong understanding ofPC systems (hardware, firmware, OS, performance)Proven experience drivingcross-functional execution and issue resolutionStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and operational rigorPreferred QualificationsExperience supportingpress reviews, product launches, or media eventsFamiliarity withgaming systems and performance benchmarkingExperience withdashboarding, reporting tools, and process optimizationExposure to supply chain, factory, or ODM/OEM environmentsKey CompetenciesOwnership mindset with strong accountabilityCross-functional leadership and influenceAbility to operate under pressure in high-visibility scenariosStructured problem-solving and prioritizationStrong communication across technical and non-technical audiencesCross-Org Skills
