We are a team of dedicated producers, detailed event planners, logistics champions, and experienced technicians. Together, we manage Comcast’s Town Hall and the Ralph J. Roberts Forum, often referred to as the ‘heart and soul of campus.’ Town Hall includes conference room space, collaborative lounge spaces, an employee TechBar, Coffee Bar, and Comcast NBCUniversal’s marquee event space, the Ralph J. Roberts Forum. Named after Comcast’s founder, the Ralph J. Roberts Forum is a two floor, 500-seat amphitheater located in the heart of the Comcast Technology Center. With 56,000 square-feet of production space, full broadcast capabilities, and its Dolby Vision + Atmos cinema system, there is no other place like the Forum. These events may be hybrid, in-person, or fully virtual. The Production Manager reports to the Director of Production and collaborates closely with creative, administrative, and technical teams to ensure every element of a production meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. The range of programs produced are, but not limited to Employee Talks and Business Meetings Movie and Narrative Series Screenings Marquee Speaker TalksJob DescriptionCore ResponsibilitiesParticipate in client meetings and calls to provide production guidance and ensure event expectations are clearly defined and metCollaborate closely with the Director of Production, Production Managers, and cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in methods, systems, and best practicesReview all show assets to confirm quality standards are met and materials are production-readyProactively communicate missing assets, open questions, risks, or concerns in a timely mannerProvide creative input that helps shape event execution and improves departmental workflowsConsult with Conference Services and AV Operations as required to support event needsActively cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partnersDevelop new protocols and elevate existing workflows and operational standardsParticipate in ongoing professional development to stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologiesOversee assigned production vendor roles and functional areasSupport the growth and strengthening of vendor relationshipsCoordination & Event ExecutionParticipate in client calls and planning meetings leading up to events, as neededEnsure events are appropriately staffed with employees, vendors, and contractorsDevelop and manage production schedules, call sheets, and run-of-show documentsClearly communicate production requirements across all departments within established timelinesCollaborate with technical and production teams to ensure events execute according to design and creative intentTrack pre-production timelines to ensure key milestones and deadlines are metLead and host production meetings, cue-to-cue sessions, and technical rehearsalsContribute creative and operational input to enhance event execution and team processesDevelopment & OperationsExpand and maintain production vendor relationshipsDevelop, document, and refine operational protocols and workflow standardsBuild and sustain productive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partnersCollaborate on and manage budgets when applicableTroubleshoot AV system and equipment issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolutionCoordinate and track quarterly maintenance schedules with vendor partnersManage vendor coordination systems and processesTrack billing and booking for auxiliary vendorsOversee onboarding processes for production vendors and contractorsManage and support the VNDLY contractor portal in collaboration with partnersMentor production co-ops and summer interns as assignedParticipate in the planning and execution of capital projectsHost and lead team meetings as assignedRequired Skills & QualificationsProficiency with web streaming platforms and RTMP workflows, including Teams Live, Vimeo, and AirmeetExperience with Panasonic and Sony PTZ camera systems, including operation and workflowExpert knowledge of live event and broadcast video workflows, including audio, video, lighting, staging, and set designStrong creative problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills appropriate for high-pressure production environmentsDemonstrated experience supporting broadcast, hybrid, in-person, and fully virtual eventsStrong administrative skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365Minimum of 10 years of experience in broadcast, live entertainment, or corporate production environmentsProven track record of success in production management rolesFlexibility to work outside of standard business hours as required by event schedulesExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a teamAbility to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressureStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsAbility to inspire enthusiasm and contribute positively to team culturePreferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with Evertz routing systems programming and operationFamiliarity with Crestron programming and control systemsWorking knowledge in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Air TableBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferredEmployees At All Levels Are Expected ToUnderstand our Operating Principles;
