Job Description Machine Operator AssistantCompanyOn-Site Staffing Service – Milwaukee, WIPay Rate$18.00 per hourFull‐TimeMonday through Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm, no Overtime.Job SummaryOn-Site Staffing Services is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant to support production and manufacturing operations. This entry-level role assists Machine Operators with operating, setting up, and maintaining mechanical equipment used to manufacture greenhouse and growing systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn in a hands-on manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Machine Operators with daily machine operation and production tasksLoad and unload materials and components into machinesMonitor machine operation and report mechanical issues or abnormalitiesPerform basic machine adjustments under supervisionConduct visual inspections of finished products to ensure quality standardsUse basic hand tools and measuring tools as neededAssist with routine cleaning, maintenance, and organization of machines and work areasFollow all safety procedures and company policiesMaintain accurate production or quality documentation as requiredRequirementsMechanical aptitude requiredAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasksAbility to lift 30 lbs plus as neededReliable attendance and strong work ethicHiring Requirements (Mandatory)Resume required Interview requiredClean background requiredWork EnvironmentIndoor manufacturing facilityExposure to machinery, moving parts, and production noiseSafety-focused, team-oriented workplaceCompany DescriptionOn-Site Staffing Services is a family owned and operated employment placement agency taking a hands-on approach to creating a skilled workforce in the greater Milwaukee area.
