Our diverse portfolio spans public municipalities and the private sector, both in the U.S. and internationally.A Day in the Life of a Technical Lead at HansonHere’s a snapshot of what you would do in this role:Lead site development projects from concept through completion, ensuring innovation and excellenceDevelop scopes, and provide strategic visionDirect civil sitework, stormwater management, and utility designEnsure regulatory compliance and produce high-quality technical documentationMentor and train design staff; contribute to recruitment and retention effortsCollaborate with the Florida Infrastructure Group and other Hanson marketsDesign for municipalities, educational facilities, and commercial/industrial developmentsAddress site grading, ADA compliance, stormwater systems, and utilitiesConduct QA/QC reviews and manage construction assistance and administrationOther duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForWe feel the following qualifications would set you up for success in this role:Soft SkillsProven leadership and team-building abilitiesStrong relationship-building skills with clients and internal stakeholdersExceptional communication and technical concept deliverySelf-motivated with strong problem-solving and mentoring capabilitiesExcellent organizational skills and deadline managementEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (advanced degree preferred)Minimum 15 years of experience in site designActive Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExperience in municipal engineering preferred; federal market experience a plusTechnical SkillsExperience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Hydraflow, Vehicle Tracking, AutoTURN desiredStrong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TeamsWorking at HansonSupportive, growth-oriented environment with a balance of independence and collaborationOpportunities to lead impactful projects and shape communitiesEngage in meaningful mentorship and team developmentSalary Range: $150,000 – $190,000BenefitsOur focus on people means we offer a generous benefits program to help you create a solid foundation for health and security throughout your career, including:Competitive compensationPerformance bonuses401(k) with matching contributionEmployee Stock Ownership PlanComprehensive health & well-being plansFinancial wellness plansWork-life balance programsWant to know more?
