Specific work hours will be discussed during the hiring process.Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self-storage facility in Folly Beach, SC. The successful candidate will ensure customer satisfaction (online, over-the-phone, in-person), maximize rental occupancy, and maintain the facility's overall performance and cleanliness. Your performance will be measured by occupancy levels, customer retention, and key metrics such as facility cleanliness and responsiveness.ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations and ensure efficient facility performance.Deliver exceptional customer service across all channels and build strong tenant relationships.Oversee leasing, payment processing, and delinquency management.Maintain facility cleanliness and security through regular inspections and light cleaning.Implement marketing strategies to enhance occupancy and revenue.Handle administrative tasks, including completing leases, auditing inventory, and providing documentation.Manage financial tasks such as bank deposits, record-keeping, and reducing delinquent accounts.Coordinate with local vendors for maintenance services and track work orders.Lead, develop, and foster a positive work environment for the team.Sell storage-related merchandise and maintain adequate inventory (locks, boxes, etc.).QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.2+ years of customer-service experience, with supervisory experience.Knowledge of the self-storage industry required.Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Computer proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, basic Excel, Teams).Availability to work some Saturdays and Sundays; schedule flexibility is valued.Physical ability to move and restock inventory up to 50 lbs, walk the full property, and operate roll-up doors.ExperienceKnowledge of the self-storage industry: 2 years (required).Company Storage Employment PoliciesEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
